Simulabox
Wealth-management simulation platform: a client app, an admin back office and a real-time Node.js API.

- Problem
- Wealth advisers need to run financial and tax simulations for their clients, then manage users, statistics and content behind the scenes.
- Built
- Three apps working together: a React client app for simulations, a React back office for administration, and an Express API that runs the calculations, exports and real-time events.
Simulabox is a wealth-management simulation platform. I work on it as a full-stack developer with DIRIS.
What the platform includes
- Client app in React, where users build and run their simulations
- Admin back office in React and CoreUI, for users, statistics and content
- API in Express with Sequelize and PostgreSQL, handling calculations, exports and real-time events over Socket.IO
- Progressive web app version deployed on Firebase
- Simulabot, a Python agent that reads a simulation and generates tax recommendations
Recent work
The platform was recently moved to Node.js 24, with reproducible installs for each app and an Nginx reverse proxy in front of the stack.
